A BIG red drinking adventure
As it turns out, one of the most popular uses for our bus is the bar/pub crawl.
We find that the bus works very well for these type of hop-on / hop-off events as this is what it was designed to do.
It brings people together and leaves groups with a real sense of camaraderie. Jealous onlookers watch open mouthed as you and your gang exclusively board and dismount. Our drivers tell us that they are continually having to tell random passers-by ‘sorry, private party’ as they attempt to join in the fun.
Whether it be a birthday, wedding celebration, charity do or simply Friday night, a bar crawl on BIG red is a fun, unique and cost effective way to spend an evening with all your mates. Furthermore, whilst you are drinking, we are driving! This leaves you to relax safe in the knowledge that we are your numero uno DUI prevention partner.

Friday and Saturday nights are our busiest. For these we require a 5 hour minimum booking. In five hours we can usually visit 4 bars, about an hour in each. Don’t forget that loading and unloading 60 people can take 15 minutes, everybody always wants to sit up top - it takes a while to rearrange everyone.
When planning the route, try to arrange the bars in a logical order, a loop starting and finishing in the same place usually works best.
Start and finish pick-up/drop-off locations are usually the same but not exclusively. A private residents, popular bar or convenient car park are the norm.
We have been doing pub crawls for awhile now and many of the bars know us. Groups have been able to get special promotions, discounts or at the very least queue jumps by phoning ahead and telling them that the London Bus is bringing a group to their venue. 60 people gives you a lot of buying power!
The bus has a nice sound system to play all your fav. Tunes.
We allow food and drink to be consumed on board, including alcohol - this way the party never stops! All passengers consuming alcohol must be over the age of 21. No glass bottles and no kegs. Coolers with cans and plastic bottles are OK.
